I am an amateur astronomer living in New Port Richey, FL.  I a member of two astronomy clubs located in Tampa and St. Petersburg.

This is my Meade LX200 8" telescope.  I recently purchased it  and I have been using it a little during the summer.   Florida's weather this year has been very bad for observing, but it has given me the chance to read several books on different techniques.

I am hoping to start taking pictures of different objects in the universe soon.  My intensions are to take pictures of the Planets, Moon, and the Sun.
